APRIL 2010

Fashion designer Kathryn Kerrigan adds that they can make or break an outfit. For women over 40, look for bib necklaces with chunky, over-sized stones with color, or a unique sparkle or shine. Know your body: If the bib necklace is too large for your body type or height, the necklace will overpower you. Find ones with minimal chains and larger stones as opposed to larger ones that are almost as big as a blouse.”

A Mad Hatter's Tea Party
May 2009

May is National Tea Month…Well, that’s not really true, but it sounds like it could be, doesn’t it? Whether it’s the month of tea or not, we always love a classy tea party–crustless egg salad sandwiches, pretty place settings, girly conversation. It sounds fussy, but if done right you can enjoy a party that is far chicer than your grandmother’s high tea (no offense, Mimi). Dress the part in these lovely items that are fit for Wonderland. Kathryn Kerrigan Shoes : Designer Shoes in Larger Sizes
Monday, August 18, 2008

I love these booties, but I especially love being able to tell you that they're available in U.S. women's sizes 6-14/15 (Euro sizes 39-46). Wearing a size 11 shoe herself, designer Kathryn Kerrigan remembers having visited 6 Chicago-area malls in attempt to find prom shoes that fit. Ten years later, she set out to change that same fate for other women by launching her own line of shoes and boots. Hand-crafted in Spain, there are booties, flats, sandals and high heeled pumps to choose from, but the shoes aren't cheap. They range in price from about $170 to $300. If that's out of your price range, you may still want to visit KathrynKerrigan.com, where I found several styles on sale for $70-$80. Kathryn Kerrigan shoes can also be found at Endless.com. For more information, and to see the full collection, visit KathrynKerrigan.com. Pictured: Kathryn Kerrigan "Leonor Nero" Image courtesy of KathrynKerrigan.com
